3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1. Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments by email or through the booking portal at least 48 hours before the scheduled date.
3.2. Late cancellations may result in a service fee to cover scheduling losses.
3.3. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, safety issues, or material delays.

4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area and disclose relevant site conditions (e.g., structural issues, restrictions, hazardous materials).
4.2. Failure to do so may cause delays or additional costs.
4.3. You are responsible for obtaining any permits or authorizations required by local regulations before work begins.

5. Scope and Quality of Work

5.1. All work will be performed with reasonable care, skill, and industry standards.
5.2. Quotes specify the exact scope of work — including demolition, painting, roofing, framing, coating, waterproofing, or maintenance.
5.3. Any changes requested after booking may require a new quote, adjusted costs, and timelines.
5.4. We are not responsible for hidden or pre-existing defects that were not visible or disclosed at the time of booking.

6. Communication and Marketing Consent (CASL & A2P Compliance)

6.1. By contacting us, submitting a form, or booking a Service, you agree to receive operational communications (such as confirmations, invoices, and project updates) that are necessary to deliver your Service.

6.2. You may also choose to opt in to receive marketing communications (promotions, offers, seasonal reminders) by email or SMS.

This consent is optional and not a condition for purchasing or booking a Service.

6.3. We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

7.2. Payment is due according to the terms specified in your quote or service agreement.
7.3. Late or incomplete payments may result in suspension or cancellation of work.
7.4. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). Handy Force Services Inc. does not store credit card information and complies with PCI-DSS security standards.

8. Liability and Warranties

8.1. Our workmanship may include a limited warranty, as stated in your individual service agreement.
8.2. Except where required by law, all Services are provided “as is,” without additional express or implied warranties.
8.3. Handy Force’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Service in question.
8.4. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, delays caused by third parties, or damages arising from undisclosed conditions.
